Abstract(in English) We demonstrate multicore amplification by propagating one multimode laser in cladding of a double-cladding multicore erbium-doped fiber and pumping all core of the fiber. We measured the property of optical amplifier when two cores are pumped by cladding pumping, and we obtain EDF gain of larger than 15dB, noise figure of less than 5.5dB and whole EDFA crosstalk of less than -30dB between 1580 and 1610nm. Two 10Gbit/s signals in each independent core are simultaneously amplified without additional penalty.
