Cooperation between a school for disabled children and college of technology in Nagano Prefecture

Abstract(in English) Students in the school for Special Need Education have many earnest problems in their everyday life. Generally speaking, support tools for them are expensive, difficult to use, not customized for them, and not fit to their body. Teachers in these schools are making great efforts to improve living environment surrounding students. On the other hand, some of these problems are essentially technical issue, technical backgrounds of national college of technology may helpful. We report our case study of cooperation between a school for Special Need Education and college of technology in Nagano prefecture.
