Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Temperature dependences of PL and PLE spectra of YVO_4:Bi yellow phosphor have been investigated. With increasing temperature, intensity of the emission around 450nm due to YVO_4 matrix was found to be decreased, while that of the yellow emission around 570nm was found to be increased, suggesting the existence of an energy transfer process from the YVO_4 matrix to an initial state of the yellow emission. To explain the temperature dependences of the emission intensities with the energy transfer process, analysis using rate equations have been done. Assuming the energy transfer process with activation energy of 85.3meV, all dependences of the emission intensities were able to be explained.
