Abstract(in English) Absorption and scattering of visible light by nano-sized metal particles with arbitrary shape is numerically considered in connection with localized surface-plasmons. The numerical technique employed here is based on Generalized Multipole Technique (GMT) in which the electric fields inside and outside the particles are expanded in spherical vector wave functions. Using the GMT we evaluate scattering fields of light by gold nanoparticles whose configuration is given by an equation r=a[1+δcos(ν θ)] in polar coordinates and then investigate the absorption and scattering associated with localized surface-plasmons on the particles.
