Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We show simulation results that gain of single-pumped fiber optical parametric amplifier (FOPA) becomes flat and broad by insertions of phase-shifters, which shift phase of a pump-light only, into a highly nonlinear fiber (HNLF). We find experimentally that the insertion of the phase-shifter into a center of an HNLF causes an expansion of 0.3-dB gain bandwidth from 9nm to 30nm.
