Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This study is a trial to bridge the communication gap between social science (e.g linguistics) and natural science (e.g. neuroscience) through a neuroscientific explanation for the phenomenon of "meaning and understanding" in the brain. The operation principle (model) mentioned in the study suggests various applications in the area of macroscopic pattern recognition such as situation/context/atmosphere recognition as a unique method of heuristic problem solving.
