Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper reports on feasibility study on the smart meter network employing IEEE802.15.4g/4e compliant multi-hop SUN (Smart Utility Networks) that provides effective metering data collection and controlling with low power consumption. In this paper, computer simulations investigate on preferable service area construction with suitable number of SUNs covering the area according to traffic conditions and multi-hop performances. Moreover, this paper also reports on proof test of data collection by using the developed IEEE802.15.4g/4e compliant SUN radio terminals that uses 920MHz band.
