Abstract(in English) Television White Space (TVWS) is a promising framework for the deployment of Dynamic Spectrum Access (DSA) technologies. Recent papers have demonstrated that the flexibility to address DSA requests a Software Defined Radio approach for the implementation of the physical (PHY) and medium access control (MAC) layers. In this paper, we present T-FleX, a TVWS flexible hardware platform developed in the framework of the FP7 QoSMOS project, aiming at addressing these issues. The platform operates in the TVWS bands with a high level of flexibility and has a very compact form factor to enable realistic trials. We consider and discuss the whole signal processing chain comprising the digital and analog branches and point out the main design challenges. Preliminary results of the mapping of a Filter Bank Multi-Carrier (FBMC) scheme onto the platform are discussed.
