Abstract(in English) Recently demands for real-time streaming and video-material transmission over IP networks are growing rapidly in the fields of broadcasting toward the realization of cost reduction and flexible network creation. Considering the global-scale networks, it takes a long time to request network configuration or troubleshoot network problems. Thus we need the method to troubleshoot and debug networks efficiently. This article gives an overview of our ultra-high definition television streaming experiment through R&E networks in Europe, US and Japan. We introduce the case of network quality monitoring and troubleshooting network problem by high-precision network monitoring systems in this experiment. We discuss future research direction of network monitoring.
