| Abstract(in English) | Science Information Network 4(SINET4) launched by National Institute of Informatics (NII) from fiscal year 2011 has been operated for about one and half year out of its 5-year term. SINET is the academic backbone network that was constructed and operated by NII for academic information infrastructure of Japanese universities and research institutions. This presentation reports the update information of SINET4, its additional constructions and newly launched services which had occurred or started during last one year, with some additional information about the construction plan in rather near future. |
