Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An AS provides additional services in IMS network and a single AS may implement several services. For introducing AS in a operator network, a congestion control function is required for the protection of the network against heavy traffic. It is shown that a congestion control based on call density control is effective in SIP network such as IMS as well as PSTN. In case that the congestion method applies to the AS implementing several services, all SIP requests towards AS are controlled. So it is impossible to control SIP requests of a particular service. In this paper we propose the congestion controls method for AS, which controls only requests of a particular service, and show the effectiveness of the method by simulation experiments.
