Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, various kinds of contents replication strategies in P2P networks have been researched for efficient contents sharing. Especially, contents sharing in hybrid P2P networks, in which a server can recognize the network topology and positions of the content items, can reduce the network load for searching and access to the contents by relocating the replicas. However, when a content item shared by many peers using replication is updated, the consistency of the replicas should be maintained. Besides, when the former and updated content items are used as two different versions of a same content, just keeping both of them needs a lot of storage capacity. Therefore, this report proposes a way of both consistency preservation among the same replicas and keeping some different versions of a same content with a small storage capacity, by using content replication, relocation and differences between versions of contents in hybrid P2P networks.
