Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There is a movement to apply Java to software development on a communication system. It may be applied to core-network systems in the future. However, a carrier-equipment is required to be high-available, and it supposes to be used to run high quality services. So, it has been concerned about a downtime-effect of garbage-collection. On the former work, we proposed the methods to avoid the downtime-effect. The first method is avoiding GC process by GC monitoring. The second is reducing GC targets by passivating Object from Java VM heap area. In this paper, we show progress about studies methods for response-time improvement.
