Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Conceptually, two communication models are in use in content delivery networks today. The one-to-one model is the old way of delivery, where content is delivered over a single (normally TCP) connection between a single server and a single client. A many-to-one model is used by streaming media delivery, where content is partitioned and delivered over multiple one-to-one connections in parallel. This paper proposes yet another model for many-to-one content aggregation whose benefit is observed in environments with highly varied end-to-end network performance.
