Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We realized two new wiring methods for wiring all the floors of multiple dwelling units(MDUs). One of these methods does not require the outer wall to be punctured and the other high density. The puncture-free wiring method can be used to wire through restricted spaces such as doors. The high-density wiring method can wire restricted spaces where there is piping or IDF/MDF. When we wire between floors, only 1/3 of the space needed for the conventional method is required for this new method. The installation area required for a small cabinet for MDF (main distribution frame)/IDF (Intermediate Distribution Frame) is 50% smaller than with the conventional method. As a result, flexible optical wiring technology is realized for MDUs.
