| Abstract(in English) | Optical amplifiers or optical receivers with high-sensitivity will be required to upgrade an existing access network. We report an investigation of the previously proposed Raman amplification with a reflector in passive optical access networks. We clarify both the effectiveness of the reflector and the influence on OSNR by the reflector. |
