抄録(英) | IEEE 802.11 is the most commonly deployed wireless standard for local area networks (WLAN). For indoor applications, the typical transmission rang in line-of-sight (LOS) is 200m for the use of Omni antennas. In this study, the typical suburban area WLAN is considered. In which, the stations are placed along a real road for multi-hop data delivering. We investigated the impacts of the real road environments on the network throughput by using different height antennas. We analyzed the throughput relationship between the end-to-end multi-hop and each neighbor link. The main motivate is: the EVs-based ad hoc networks (EVANET)has been proposed and can be employed in specific applications which is different with the VANET. |
