Multi-channel Wireless LAN with Variable Bandwidth in TV White Space

Abstract(in English) Demand for wireless communication has increased significantly, on the other hand, the frequency band available for wireless communication has been very tight. Use of wireless communication in TV white space has been promoted in various countries. Currently, development of standards for wireless LAN in TV white space has been carried out in the Task Group af (TGaf) of the IEEE802.11 Working Group, aiming at the completion of work in 2013. In this report, we describe the trends in the physical layer in the stage of letter ballot in the standardization work of TGaf. Additionally, we propose a multi-channel operation system in order to make effective use of TV white space even in the plesence of other TV white space stations such as Area-1-seg stations.
