Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Multiple channel transmission has been implemented in satellite communications due to the increasing demands for multiuser applications. However, multiplexing several single carrier signals increases transmission peak power. In this paper, we propose a simple transmission technique which can lower the peak power of the multichannel signal. The proposed method introduces a fixed timing offset between multiple channels. We will also show that the idea presented here can be straightforwardly implemented in block-based single carrier systems. The simulation results show that the proposed method can lower the peak power compared to the conventional two-channel transmission.
