Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We proposed a selective mode excitation technique to reduce MIMO DSP for a WDM MIMO system. We show numerically that we can selectively excite low-order modes with small DMD. We experimentally clarify that we can obtain the small DMD of low-order modes over a wide wavelength range under selective mode excitation conditions, and realized a C- and L-band WDM coherent optical 2×2 MIMO transmission over 9-km 50 μm-core GI-MMF with small DMD, which enables us to reduce MIMO DSP complexity over a wide wavelength range.
