Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We discussed stochastic behavior of inter-core crosstalk in multi-core fiber, and investigated effects of the crosstalk on Q-factor theoretically. Crosstalk is considered to be varied in obedience to a normal distribution on I/Q planes by signal modulation, Q-penalty becomes 1 dB at Q-factor of 9.8 dB when statistical average crosstalk from other cores becomes -16.7dB for PDM-QPSK, -23.7dB for PDM-16QAM, and -29.9dB for PDM-64QAM.
