Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Because a semiconductor laser's oscillation frequency changes easily, its frequency stabilization is necessary for many application fields. We measured this frequency stability using the beat signal between frequencies of two semiconductor lasers. We studied the generation method of terahertz waves by means of semiconductor laser's beat signals because this method has the potential of low cost, small size, and high performance Terahertz wave sources for medical and communication fields.
