Abstract(in English) The optimized use of sonar systems available for target detection and tracking is a very practical problem for a given ocean environment. In this paper, the modelling and simulation algorithm and program to quantify the measure of mission achievability, which is known as Measure Of Effectiveness (MOE), for a sonar-maneuver tactic are developed and tested for the specific mission such as detection and tracking in sonar system. Through simulation of a simple case for which the intuitive solutions are known, the developed algorithm is verified.
