Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a high-capacity data embedding method for palette-based images which improves image quality. Some other methods for palette-based images which can embed high-capacity data have proposed. They, however, degrade image quality by embedding high-capacity data. Then, we propose an efficient method embedding high-capacity data without seriously degrading image quality. The proposed method embeds n-bit data not only in a single pixel but also in its 3×3 neighboring pixels. This feature accomplishes to improve image quality and to set n up to 3. Simulation results show the effectiveness of our method.
