Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Enhancing the resolution of images is a traditional research field. This field is called Super Resolution (SR) and a variety of methods have been proposed in the last two decades. However, most of them are proposals for still images. Generally it is necessary to conduct iterations to apply SR technologies to images and the numbers of the iteration times depend on the characteristics of original image. Video sequences consist of 30 frames per second and it is demanded to satisfy the signal processing speed for real time equipment. It is almost impossible to embody the uncertain number of iteration SR algorithms. Super Resolution Image Reconstruction is the only algorithm that we can apply to video at present. In this paper a novel SR algorithm is proposed.
