Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Services Computing framework aims at creating practical communication applications efficiently by coordinating components or services provided through networks. Considering that cloud services are growing rapidly and the use of smart phones or tablets is getting more prevalent, application mashing-up using such capabilities is expected to be more diversified. However, the number of elemental components officially offered by major providers is still limited and therefore it is necessary to increase the provision of such components. If Web Services based Application Program Interfaces (WS-based APIs) are offered by some authorities or content owners currently providing HTML-based Web sites, application mashing-up will be accelerated. We will present the findings of the results through implementing some prototype applications using such APIs.
