Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the next generation mobile communication systems, the high speed data services are demanded. However, because of path loss and shadowing loss, the transmission quality of the user near the cell edge degrades. A cooperative relay is known as one of the efficient solutions for such a problem. In our previous work, we have studied the single-carrier-frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) cooperative amplify-and-forward (AF) relay in single user environment. When the number of users exceeds that of channels, the scheduling method which selects simultaneous users is required. The well-known scheduling methods are Max map, Max min, and PF map. However, the number of the simultaneous users is changed because of the channel fluctuation. In this paper, we propose the scheduling methods which can control the number of the simultaneous users for uplink SC-FDMA cooperative AF relay. And we evaluate, by computer simulation, the sum capacity, user capacity, and fairness when using the proposed scheduling methods.
