Abstract(in English) We propose an evaluation method for shielding effect using an optical fiber link broadband transmitting antenna system that consists of a transmitting optical fiber link system, a broadband bi-corn antenna, and a vector network analyzer. Our proposed method is based on a time domain analysis and a time-frequency analysis using short time Fourier transform. The proposed method enables the direct wave to be isolated from transmission waves from the absorbing materials and diffraction waves from the edge of shielding material. It is proved that our proposed method can be used to evaluate the shielding effect for thin film type shielding sheet.
