Abstract(in English) Recently, some airlines have begun in-flight wireless LAN service. The aim of this study is to develop an accurate and reliable method of estimating the electromagnetic field(EMF) distributions in aircraft cabins, which can contribute to advance the radio link design in support of such services. Previously, authors estimated propagation characteristics of cellular radio inside a typical aircraft cabin using a large scale FDTD computation. In this report, we estimate propagation characteristics of a 2.45GHz wireless LAN access point inside the cabin of a Boeing 777-200 model.
