Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To generate broadband high-intensity THz pulse, high-intense ultra-short pump pulse system is required. To investigate suitable mode-locked pulse in such systems, we examine amplification characteristic of two types of pulses (soliton and stretched pulse) produced from our mode-locked Yb-doped fiber laser oscillator. Our result indicated that soliton has to be amplified without decreasing pulse quality.
