Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Information from a vessel equipped with an automatic identification system (AIS) is essential to support safety navigation for lots of vessels on marine area. AIS data includes a vessel's information such as location information and course. Storing AIS data from past to now enables various kinds of advanced analysis. In this report, we propose a GIS platform for storing and analyzing AIS data. Our platform consists of data storing function and data visualization function. We implemented a prototype system of the proposed platform and stored AIS data to the prototype.
