Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Dynamic spectrum access requires to measure radio environments even during the communication with other cognitive radio terminals. This report evaluates the detection probability on adjacent channels with an overlapped FFT. On the adjacent channel, the noise spectrum is declining due to the frequency response of a receive filter. This causes more correlation between DFT frames. Numerical results obtained through computer simulation show that the overlapped FFT more reduces the variance of noise power more effectively on the adjacent channel than the main communication channel.
