Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Location-based services (LBS) of mobile phone have entered a period of expansion, as number of smartphones equipped with GPS as a standard feature are increased. Various services such as map information, navigation, and game have been provided as LBS. On the other hand, it has been reported that some fraud and falsification cases to exploit location information. Although several ways to detect and prevent fraud/falsification of location information have been proposed and implemented, there is no established effective method yet. In this paper, in order to prevent fraud/falsification of location information of smartphones, we propose a location proof method using NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) 183 standard data obtained in GPS positioning. We investigate the method to attach the information of the WLAN signal which is captured in the surrounding area in order to reinforce the proof. And we introduce a single high-precision positioning method by the Quasi-Zenith Satellite "Michibiki" which is currently being validated and demonstrated in Japan.
