Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | New born babies have already learned that the world is composed of both space (containing shapes) and time (which is symbolized by sounds, voices, and moves) when they are born. So, when they see shapes, instantly they make 'form-images' in their brain, and when they see a new shape, they put it on the 'form-image' and they recognize what it is, and then they represent it by the signs and the syntax, which they have already learned. This mechanism of recognition and representation works the same not only in the communication between members of their own language-group but also in the communication between members of different language-groups. I am going to explain the mechanism of recognition and representation by languages as a translation. |
