Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are developing a novel noise hiding technique, which can make audible copy disturbance noises embedded in the acoustic signal, re-sampled by an audio reorder. We have proposed a noise hiding method, which had embeded copy disturbance noises around minimum or maximum sensing cutoff frequencies of typical microphones in an acoustic signal. If we compressed bandwidth of this embedded signal by recording, auditory masking effects would not work and the embedded copy disturbance noises would become audible. In this paper, we propose embedding copy disturbance noises by scrambling temporally signal components within the embedding frequency bands in order to playback more distinct copy disturbance noises. If there are non-scrambled original components in higher or lower frequency bands than embedded bands, auditory masking effects will work and the scrambled noises will be inaudible. If we compress bandwidth of this embedded signal by recording, auditory masking effects will not work and the scrambled noises will become audible.
