Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We evaluate the decoding performance in the case that the prior probability is given by 2D Ising model in a spread spectrum watermarking model which estimates both image and messages. When an estimated image is restored from a tampered image, we need to assume some prior probability. For the infinite range model, saddle point equations have been derived by the replica theory, and then the performance has been evaluated. Natural images require further prior probabilities. The 2D Ising model can represent cluster patterns. For this model, since the replica theory cannot be applied, we calculate bit error rate by computer simulations. In the result, results using the 2D Ising model show that the image restoration is effective to decode the messages as well as the infinite range model.
