Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In Japan, about 2.5% of people have color vision deficiency and individual differences exist in the condition. On the other hand, display devices have particular color characteristics. In order to solve problems which arise from those differences and characteristics, we proposed the method for determining confusion color pairs and evaluated the ability. Determination of confusion color pairs is done like a bisection method. Three stimuli are presented to subject, one of them is reference, and others are test stimuli. Subject's task is only selecting test stimulus that color is perceived more similar to reference's color than another one. Two methods for assigned initial colors of stimuli were proposed and evaluated. As a result, we found that both methods had ability for determining color pairs suitable for previous works, and it seems to be good results for the method employing theoretical confusion line for assigned initial colors.
