Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, by using near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), we investigate the influence of the amount of Δoxy-Hb (The relative amount of oxy-Hb and deoxy-Hb) on the frontal lobe caused by image content and its quality degradation. A total of 9 evaluation image types were used. And, we also use 3 kinds of encoded JPEG degraded images for a total of 27 test images in the experiment. We used a questionnaire to understand the relation of changes of Δoxy-Hb and changes of the psychological quantity.
