Abstract(in English) | A new lossy impedance-matching network (IMN) is proposed for a load, whose reflection coefficient rotates heavily on Smith chart depending on its operating frequency. This IMN consists of a directional coupler and a reflection circuit which is connected to the coupled port of the coupler. In this manuscript, its operational principle and circuit analyses are described. This IMN is effective for a situation where an advantage of the impedance-matching is more significant than the disadvantage of the transmission loss by the IMN, for example, for a microwave power amplifier whose efficiency depends on the load impedance. |
