Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Most geometrical figures that cause optical illusions consist of repeated patterns with simple parts. Maximizing the amount of illusions is called parameter tuning. As there are many elements for tuning parameters, it is time consuming to do this. Moreover, there are not only elements for static cases also many elements to consider in geometrical optical illusions with animation, e.g., the frequency and amplitude of vibration, and whether vibration is discrete or continuous. We constructed a Web system using Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) to enable it to be optimized efficiently even if the combination of parameters increased. SVG is a W3C recommendation and it enabled us to present figures on Web pages and discuss their usefulness.
