| Abstract(in English) | The aim of the present study is to explore the possibility of computer-based automated writing-scoring system. By applying pattern recognition and natural language processing to the assessment of English writings, the present paper proposes a new method for automated writing-scoring, and the result is verified by the comparison with that of the existing writing-scoring system. |
