Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, we proposed a joint transmit/receive MMSE-FDE for multi-input multi-output (MIMO)-ANC, in which a relay station (RS) is equipped with multiple antennas. Introducing joint transmit/receive FDE to multi-relay ANC obtain higher spatial diversity gain and accordingly achieve higher throughput performance. In multi-relay ANC, each RS need to know the channel state information (CSI) of mobile terminal (MT) - all RSs - base station (BS). However, this is impractical. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a suboptimal multi-relay ANC with joint transmit/receive FDE, in which each RS requires the CSI of MT - itself - BS for determining the joint transmit/receive FDE weight. In this paper, we derive the suboptimal joint transmit/receive FDE weight. We evaluate, by the computer simulation, the throughput performances of the uplink and downlink using multi-relay ANC with the proposed suboptimal transmit/receive FDE and show the proposed suboptimal joint transmit/receive FDE can achieve close throughput performance compared to the optimal joint transmit/receive FDE.
