Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wireless ad hoc network is expected as a promising technology to realize the future ubiquitous network and create temporary networks in emergency and disaster. However, their performance is affected by severe radio propagation environment with fading and shadowing, and transmission reliability will deteriorate. In order to improve packet transmission reliability and achieve efficient transmission, Cognitive Temporary Bypassing (CTB) and Dynamic Multi-hop Shortcut (DMHS) schemes were proposed, and they are integrated into Integrated Dynamic Multi-Hopping (IDMH) scheme. The schemes autonomously change the route by cognitive action of distributed nodes. In this paper, transmission performance of IDMH in shadowing environment is analyzed. The results show that IDMH can remarkable improve packet delivery rate in shadowing environments.
