Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose differential mode delay (DMD) independent low computational complexity MIMO processing for a mode-division multiplexing (MDM) transmission system. The functional imperfection of the mode MUX/DEMUX can be fully compensated by using this technique. We achieved experimentally a WDM-MDM transmission using PLC based mode MUX/DEMUX over the C-L band with low MIMO processing complexity even when using a few-mode fiber with a high DMD.
