Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Electromagnetic waves emitted from the impulse voltage generators such as a standard lightning impulse generator for high voltage test and an electrostatic discharge (ESD) gun for ESD test could affect the electric apparatus placed near the generators due to the induced high electromagnetic field. We investigated the fundamental properties of these emitted electromagnetic waves by using a horn antenna with UHF band and a digital oscilloscope when the impulse voltage generator was operated. We also investigated the influences of charging voltage of the generators and the antenna distance from the generators on the emitted electromagnetic waves.
