A Method to Identify CDN Introduction and an Analysis of Domestic Traffic Situation in Large Scale Contents Providers

Abstract(in English) Recently, the large scale contents providers' traffic has been increasing. These contents provider deliver effectively their contents by using content delivery networks (CDNs). The CDNs are deployed globally and the CDN service nodes introduced many autonomous systems (ASs). It greatly affects the internet structure. However, the deployment status of the CDNs in domestic ASs is not revealed. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the CDNs' behaviors, and propose a method to identify CDN introduction by using active measurement. In addition, we survey the status by large scale monitoring survey. The results show that the deployment of CDNs spread rapidly in domestic ASs.
