Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Chromatic dispersion compensation by digital signal processing at the receiver enables the use of simple transmission lines without inline dispersion compensating fibers, and then provides additional benefits such as higher nonlinear tolerance. We report the verification of the effectiveness of chromatic dispersion compensation by real-time DSP for 127Gb/s PM-QPSK up to 56,200ps/nm. We also demonstrated the transmission of 127Gb/s PM-QPSK signal in 50GHz-spacing 5-channel WDM configuration over the 3,350km SMF-only line.
