Abstract(in English) We demonstrate 40-G and 100-G mixed-rate PDM-QPSK DWDM transmission using real-time DSP in 580-km field testbed consisting of commercially-available installed dispersion-shifted fibers with large PMD. We confirm the transmission without an additional penalty induced by inter-channel nonlinear crosstalk due to mixing signals which are different bitrate from each other. We also confirm the applicability of digital coherent PDM-QPSK to large-PMD field environment through the investigation of PMD, PDL and SOP-change tolerances and error-correction performance in the testbed.
