Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we present a method for a grip tracking in golf swing by using a Kinect sensor and a particle filter. A golf swing tracking using only Kinect sensor makes tracking of grip difficult. Because swing speed is fast and both arms overlap each other, the grip is hidden in the head. Also, a golf swing tracking using only particle filter makes tracking of grip difficult, because tracking fails in case that color of grip and arms is similar. Therefore, by using skeleton information of output of a Kinect sensor, we divide the poses of golf swing into four stages. For each stage, we exactly track grip position by changing the tracking method. Finally, we show some simulation results with less tracking error than a conventional method.
