Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For extracting data from a printed image, the capturing of the image by a scanning device is required. In this case, the captured image is distorted by the geometrical distortion such as rotation, scaling and translation. These distortions affect the detection of the data. The correction of the distortions by a marker embedding method has been proposed. In this paper, we propose an improvement of the data embedding and extracting method for the printed image with embedding makers. The proposed method detects the position of the markers by sub-pixel precision to improve the accuracy and the makers are used for the correction of the rotation and the scaling. The new method of extracting the target image from the captured image also proposed. Through the experimental results, the effectiveness of the proposed method is shown.
